Red Devils attacker Andreas Pereira is in talks to leave the Old Trafford after losing his starting berth at Man United. Brazil international was a regular in the first half of the campaign but the arrival of Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon, as well as the return of Paul Pogba from injury, has limited his matches.

Andreas played only two substitute games in the PL since the competition restarted and he only managed 26 minutes in the UEL with LASK, despite Red Devils having a five-goal aggregate lead.

That’s convinced Pereira that he needs to leave the Theatre of Dreams for regular first-team football and the attacker is now in the process of ‘leaving’ the club.

Despite his struggles for playing time, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer tried to convince the Brazilian to remain and assured the attacker that there was a place for him at the club. However, the 24-year-old attacker has already bided his time for a shot at the Old Trafford and it would seem he’s unwilling to take a step back after breaking into the side in 2019.

Valencia, Andreas’ former club, are said to be interested, while a raft of Spanish and Portuguese clubs have also made offers. It’s unclear what Red Devils valuation of Andreas is but Man United could do with every extra penny as they target a deal for Borussia Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho.

Bundesliga giants want £108m for the forward but Red Devils are unwilling to stretch that far and are desperately trying to negotiate a lower fee for the former Man City attacker. Red Devils are also keen on a midfielder and central defender this summer but they will have to recoup funds through footballer sales.
