Italian Champions Juventus has reportedly identified Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba as their key summer midfield target and could offer United their own Star Paulo Dybala as part of a proposed swap deal.

United’s French midfielder has endured a topsy-turvy spell at Old Trafford since rejoining the Premier League club in 2016 from Juventus and is yet to commit to signing a contract extension.

Reports in Italy claim that new Juventus head coach Andrea Pirlo has spent several hours discussing several transfer targets and outgoings with the club’s directors, with Dybala being named as the key departure this summer.

As reported by Tuttosport, the Serie A champions could convince Manchester United to give up their star midfielder by offering striker Dybala as part of the deal

The French international’s contract comes to an end in under 12 months and the player has shown no inclination till now of wanting to extend his stay in England.

Paul Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, has repeatedly hinted at the World Cup winner’s potential return to Juventus over the past six months.

‘Italy is like home to Paul. He would not mind going back to Juve but we will see what will happen,’ Raiola said in February.

Juventus are planning on heading in a new direction after the appointment of club legend Andrea Pirlo as their new manager and are convinced that they have found a clever way of bringing Pogba back to Turin and with Paulo Dybala no longer a part of the Juventus’s plan, the Italian side are convinced that this plan of theirs just might work.
