Premier League giants Manchester United are reportedly planning whether to reignite their interest in Ajax midfield maestro Donny van de Beek.

While the Red Devils have been rumoured with the Dutch playmaker in the past, it has recently been claimed that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is focusing his attention to other targets.

That seemingly left the Los Blancos with a clear path to the 23-year-old, who has managed to found back of the net 10 times and provided six assists in the Eredivisie and Champions League this campaign.

However, according to De Telegraaf, the Los Blancos are unwilling to conclude a deal at this stage due to the financial implications following the coronavirus pandemic.

Having continued to keep tabs on the situation, the Red Devils may now capitalise on the situation, showing a willingness to pay £44.5m for the Netherland’s international midfielder.

Although the Los Blancos will likely be given another chance to secure the services of Dutch playmaker Van de Beek, the report drops hints that they will only be successful if they are willing to finalise the transfer in the upcoming summer transfer window.
