Manchester United have been linked with Paulo Dybala in the past and once again, the Argentine attacker is in the lime light.

According to AS, the South American star’s future is up in the air and several top clubs, including Manchester United, are interested in hiring his services.

The famous Spanishoutlet have mentioned that 27-year-old stars wants a new deal that will make him earn around £260,000-a-week but the Bianconeri are not willing to meet the wage demands.

It is claimed that the Red Devils have made contact with the entourage of the player, who is also on the radar of PSG, Inter and a few PL clubs as well.

Back in 2017, the former Palermo player signed a contract with The Old Lady worth £110,000-a-week (The Mail) and the deal expire in less than two years (June 2022).

Dybala has won every major domestic title with Juventus and last season, he was in brilliant form under the management of former Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri.

The La Albiceleste attacker scored 11 goals and provided as many assists in the Scudetto winning campaign for the Italian giants and was even named the Serie AFootballer of the Year.

However, since the appointment of Pirlo, Dybala has warmed the bench more often than not and even last night, he featured for just 5 odd minutes in the Champions League contest vs Barcelona. So, he should look to leave in order to play regular first team football.

Dybala is naturally a secondary forward but he can effectively play on either flank and even as an out and out center forward if needed. United failed to adequately improve their offense in the summer transfer window and the versatile Argentina star has the quality and experiece to improve things up front.

In your view, should Man Utd move in to sign Paulo Dybala in the January transfer window?

  1. I think it’s not necessary after utd agreeing deals with pellistri and Amad Traore, the front line is now a good one with the above mentioned new signings plus Rashford, Martial, Greenwood, Bruno,Cavani instead of having Dybala utd should instead have a typical striker like halaand,Lautaro Martinez,Raul Jiminez etc , the only problem with man utd is to do with the backline

  2. Only if you can off-load …..Martial is lazeeeeee, needs to move on. Pogba’s saga is unsetteling for the rest of the team, he is great to watch but inconsistent. Shaw, he’s hard worker but lacks agility.
