Man United could pay star £56million to agree signing – Deal more than possible

Manchester United are once again liked with Kalidou Koulibaly and the recent reports going on in Italy and Spain are intriguing.

Earlier in the day, Mundo Deportivo published a story and stated that Napoli are looking to replace the Senegalese international by signing Barcelona starlet, Todibo, who is currently on loan with Schalke and valued at 25 million euros.

The well-known Spanish media outlet have claimed that Koulibaly’s transfer to the Old Trafford club is more than possible this summer. It is mentioned that PSG have fallen behind in the race and now the African star is aiming to strengthen the Red Devils.

MD have further stated that Man Utd could pay the star $70million (£56million) to agree his signing, which basically shows that they are perhaps talking about wages.

As far as the transfer fee is concerned, La Gazzetta Dello Sport have claimed that the Italian giants do not want to sell their prized asset for a penny less than 100 million euros.

The Italian source have further mentioned that Napoli have so far received just one request and that has come from Man United, who assess the 29-year-old at 80 million euros.

The Serie A star is one of the best central defenders in the world but in all fairness, his valuation does not make much sense, especially in the current crisis situation.

Last year, we broke the bank to make Harry Maguire the most expensive defender in the world when he was 26. So, it would be insane if we meet the asking price of 100 million euros (£90million) to sign Koulibaly, who will be 30 next year.

In your opinion, do we really need to reinforce our central defense in the summer?
