Manchester United have seemingly been handed a huge transfer boost in their efforts to secure the services of Birmingham City starlet Jude Bellingham.
The 16-year-old playmaker already attended the club’s training ground for talks, the Red Devils interest in the prospect has been well-documented.
Although there have been varying reports regarding a competition for the talented English midfielder, with German giants Borussia Dortmund are huge admirers of his game and keen on to lure him at Signal Iduna Park this summer.
However, the German outfits sporting director Michael Zorc has claimed that they may be ready to take a backseat in this summer transfer market due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Speaking to Kicker, Zorc said: “This summer will be unpleasant. After all, we don’t know when to start playing again. There is a lot of uncertainty in all clubs. We first have to manage this crisis situation.”
That will come as a huge boost for Man Utd as they are now the frontrunners to lure talented Birmingham City playmaker at Old Trafford.
Bellingham is believed to cost in the region of £30m, however, there has been claims that Chelsea are also in the race for his signature.
