The report adds that Dortmund have run out of patience with the 20-year-old’s off-the-field issues. Last week, he was fined by the German football league for flouting the country’s coronavirus safety guidelines by having a haircut without the use of personal protective equipment.
In addition, Sancho is also reported to have missed training and came late to a meeting, leading to some displeasure within the club. His frequent trips to England have also become a problem. (Bild h/t Evening Standard)
Manchester United manager Solskjaer has previously stressed that he wants the right characters within the team. To that end, he held discussions with Marcus Rashford, who is a close friend of Sancho, before going ahead with a bid for the 20-year-old. (h/t Evening Standard)
