Manchester United have been looking to strengthen their right wing position for months but so far, they have failed big time.

They wanted to lure Jadon Sancho but the Dortmund star is staying put, on the other hand, the Red Devils also pushed to sign Ousmane Dembele from Barcelona but once again, they failed.

According to reports (Manchester Evening News), the Old Trafford outfit even moved in with a loan offer to sign Ismailla Sarr from Watford yesterday.

MEN claim that the Hornets turned the offer down as they only want a permanent transfer and would be eager to sell him for a fee of around £45million.

The good news is that Man United can still get his signing done because the domestic transfer window will close on October 16. However, if they want Sarr to feature in the group stages of the Champions League, then they have to seal the signing and register him in time today.

The Red Devils are in the group of death and will kick start their European Cup campaign on October 20 away from home against last season’s runners-up Paris Saint-Germain.

The 22-year-old directly contributed in 11 goals (5 goals and 6 assists) in the last campaign and was brilliant in victories against Manchester United and Liverpool.

Unfortunately, Sarr could not save the Vicarage Road outfit from relegation and this season, he has so far made two appearances in the Championship.

In your opinion, should Man United splash £45million to get his signing done?
