Manchester United are reportedly set to secure services of Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Raul Jimenez during the current summer transfer window.
The Mexico international has been in fine form at club level during the 2019-20 season, founding back of the net 26 times and providing 10 assists in 53 games in all competitions.
The Red Devils recently extended Odion Ighalo’s loan contract at the club that will keep Nigerian forward at Old Trafford until January 2021, however, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are still believed to be in the market for a new forward in the summer.
According to RTP, the Red Devils are closing in on a move for the 29-year-old, with Braga’s Paulinho believed to arrive at Molineux as a replacement for Mexico international attacker.
The rumours surrounding Jimenez’s future has gathered pace in recent weeks, with Serie A champions, Juve and Man Utd’s direct rivals Liverpool also believed to be fans of the ex-Atletico Madrid forward.
The Red Devils, who will play Champions League football next campaign courtesy of finishing third in the English top-tier will resume their Europa League season on August 5.
Man Utd also eyeing a move for Wolves midfield star Ruben Neves, however, Nuno Espasito’s side are unlikely to lose two key players this summer.
