Juventus have reportedly offered Aaron Ramsey as part of a fresh approach for France international Paul Pogba, and Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would welcome the ex-Arsenal man to Old Trafford, reports claim.

Solskjaer is a fan of the Welshman and he believes Aaron would be a better fit in his new-look Red Devils midfield, with Portugal star Bruno Fernandes as the side’s chief playmaker.

There are concerns over how Ole would squeeze Fernandes and Pogba into the same midfield three and the Norwegian views Aaron as a more adaptable player to work with.

Of course, a hefty fee of money would still need to be involved for any possible deal to get over the line.

According to the Transfer Window Podcast, the Red Devils remain open to the sale of Paul so long as their valuation is met and would be prepared to negotiate with Ramsey being a part of the deal.

While Paul would also be keen on a return to Bianconeri, the question remains how much capital the Italian heavyweights could put up, particularly amid the coronavirus crisis.

Ramsey has struggled to make an impression since moving to Serie A and has only scored three goals in Italy’s top-flight this campaign. Pogba has failed to score in the Premier League this term, largely due to an ankle injury.

Elsewhere, Real Madrid have reportedly told Manchester United that they will have to come up with a bid of €500 million (£450m) if they want to sign Federico Valverde in the summer.
