Man United are reportedly yet to make a decision regarding both the short and long-term future of English stopper, Dean Henderson who has been rumoured with a switch to Chelsea.
The English goalkeeper has just spent a successful loan period with Sheffield United, helping them to finish 2020/21 season in ninth place in the English top-tier.
While the Yorkshire outfit naturally wants to keep the 23-year-old, Man Utd stopper would likely stay at Old Trafford if given assurances over first-team minutes at the club.
However, according to Manchester Evening News, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is yet to decide on where the academy graduate fwill continue his career as he prefers David de Gea ahead of him in the pecking order.
Although Henderson effectively has three years left on his current deal, he is said to be open to making a permanent move to elsewhere if Solskjaer intends to keep Spaniard his no.1 choice for the 2020/21 season.
Although Chelsea are believed to be keeping tabs on the situation, the Red Devils are unlikely to sell to one of their direct rivals.
Chelsea plan to sell Kepa Arrizabalaga this summer and have Dean Henderson on top of Frank Lampard’s wishlist for the next season.
