The Athletic report that the two clubs are already ‘in talks’ over the deal and Coman is said to be keen to join fellow countrymen Martial and Paul Pogba.
However, Borussia Dortmund starlet Jadon Sancho will remain the club’s number one target for the summer.
United are open to a loan or permanent move for Coman and his arrival would add quality depth to Solskjaer’s attacking department.
United cannot carry passengers if they’re to progress as a team, especially with the prospect of Champions League football next season.
If Bayern are willing to part ways with Coman this summer for a reasonable price, the Red Devils have absolutely no reason to turn their noses up at the deal.
