Manchester United attacker Juan Mata is prepared to pursue a fresh challenge away from the club amid the interest from Fenerbahce.

The Spaniard currently has one year remaining on his contract with the Red Devils but the club have the option to extend his stay for another 12 months.

He has made 34 appearances for the club this term, but his gametime has been limited in the Premier League under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

So far, he has been restricted to only eight league starts and he is currently a regular bench player with the likes of Bruno Fernandes and Mason Greenwood favoured ahead of him.

According to Sansursuz Futbol, the 32-year-old is eager to leave the Red Devils in the search for regular first-team football and Fenerbahce are one of the main contenders to sign him.

Mata has previously remained content with a reduced role with the first-team squad but with the arrival of Fernandes and emergence of Greenwood, he has managed just 37 minutes in the past eight league games.
