Manchester United are reportedly favourites to sign AC Milan midfield star, Ismael Bennacer as the rumours surrounding the Algerian continues to gather pace.
PSG, Real Madrid and Man City are just top three of the teams to be rumoured with the 22-year-old, who only arrived at AC Milan from Empoli earlier last summer.
A recent report suggested that the Algeria international could be available for a figure in the region of €50m (£45m) when the transfer window will be re-opened in the summer.
According to Competition, the Red Devils are are ‘following’ the situation closely and are ‘waiting for the green light’ from AC Milan to launch a bid for the central midfielder.
Bennacer has made 27 appearances for his Italian club during the 2019-20 season, while he has a deal at San Siro until the summer of 2024.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are currently fifth in the English top-tier, just two points behind fourth-placed Chelsea as they battle to secure a return to the Champions League for the 2020-21 campaign.
Meanwhile, Man Utd also eyeing a move for another AC Milan star Alessio Romagnoli who has been tipped to depart from San Siro ahead of the 2020/21 season.
