Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are set to sign Jude Bellingham according to reports with Liverpool, Arsenal and Man City also linked
Manchester United are ready to beat their competitors to the signing of Birmingham City starlet Jude Bellingham, according to the Mirror.
The Mirror reported late last night that, following a tour around United’s Carrington training ground, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are going to land Bellingham despite competition from Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund and Premier League trio Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal.
They are saying that United will put a package of £30 million together to land the 16-year-old, with the report adding that Blues will not stop Bellingham from departing this summer.
Bellingham burst onto the scene earlier this season and became Blues’ youngest ever player when he appeared in a 3-0 defeat to Portsmouth in August, breaking the record set by Trevor Francis.
The England Under-17 international has scored four times and set up three goals, all of them coming in the Championship.
He came through Blues ‘ academy and has also been capped at Under-16 and Under-15 level for his country.
