Manchester United are reportedly planning to raid Barcelona this summer with Ousmane Dembele, Arturo Vidal, Ivan Rakitic and Samuel Umtiti all on their wishlist.

The LaLiga giants are set for a summer exodus following their Champions League humiliation against Bayern Munich and are willing to listen to offers for the quartet.

According to Mundo Deportivo via Manchester Evening News, United are keen to bring all of them to Old Trafford and have already made contact with Barcelona specifically over Dembele and Umtiti’s availability.

United have previously been linked with all four of the Barcelona players and are hopeful of striking some cut-price deals as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to rebuild his side ahead of next season following their Europa League disappointment against Sevilla.

United’s No 1 target is Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho but a deal has stalled with the two clubs still at loggerheads over the fee.

Dembele would be a like-for-like alternative to Sancho and may be a cheaper option with Barcelona ready to sell him after he endured another underwhelming season in Spain.

Umtiti, meanwhile, had been a regular in Barcelona’s team but has been blighted by persistent knee problems over the course of the last two seasons and now faces an uncertain future.

Rakitic had told United he had no interest in joining the club back in January but Solskjaer is set to revive his interest in him while Vidal only has one year left on his deal and is likely to depart for a reasonable fee.

United boss Solskjaer has big plans this summer and has called on the club to spend big with an ambition to close the gap on Liverpool and Manchester City next season.

Despite a resurgence in form since football returned back in June, United showed improvements are still needed as they squandered their last opportunity to finish the season with silverware by losing to Sevilla in the Europe League semi-final.
