Fresh reports have again claimed that Manchester United are back in the hunt to try and sign Aaron Ramsey this summer.
Ramsey spent 11 years with the north London club after joining the Gunners as a teenager from Cardiff and, will go down in history as one of the club’s greatest midfielders having scored two FA Cup final winning goals, but he left the club in the summer after agreeing a massive £325,000-a-week deal with Juventus.
However, reports in Italy, suggests Ramsey’s future is already in doubt and that he could leave after just one season as new boss Andrea Pirlo is reportedly keen to fresh up his squad during the summer transfer window.
Nonetheless, his reputation as a fine midfielder remains and he is still the right side of 30 with his birthday not until midway through next season, and And Corriere dello Sport now claim Wales international Ramsey is of interest to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Solskjaer has been a long-term fan of the Welshman and reportedly believes that he will be able to offer the club another goal-threat, as they seek to push on from a productive season to challenge for more titles next year.
Would Manchester United fans want to see him make a move to Old Trafford after seeing him fail so miserably over in a League that is dominated by Juventus?
He is a top player but maybe one that United should not be going after, as his days at the top level are over with and he is more suited to a lower placed Premier League side.
