Manchester United would reportedly have to come up with an offer around £90m to secure services of Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Raul Jimenez during the summer transfer window.
The 29-year-old has been in fine form at club level during the 2019-20 season, founding back of the net 23 times and providing 10 assists in 45 games in all competitions.
A number of teams, including Liverpool, Juventus and Man United, have been credited with an interest in the Mexico international centre-forward, who has 14 goals in the Premier League to his name this campaign.
However, according to the Transfer Window Podcast, Wolves have signalled that they will sell their star player only for £90m.
Jimenez has scored nine goals in 13 Europa League games for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side this season, while his overall Premier League record stands at 27 goals in 68 appearences.
The Red Devils could allegedly be in the market for a new striker this summer despite extending the contract for Odion Ighalo’s loan stay at the club until January 2021.
Both Juve and Man Utd are keen on to strengthen their offensive end, however, it seems unlikely one of them to meet Wolves £90m asking price especially after the coronavirus pandemic that had a huge effect on the club’s finances.
