Former Manchester United forward Louis Saha has advised world-class pair Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey to make the switch to Old Trafford next season.

The Red Devils could do with a top-class centre-forward, while a quality defensive midfielder is also needed in order to give more space to Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes.

If the Red Devils got Aubameyang, it would be a repeat of scenario when than Arsenal captain and the best player Robin Van Persie opted to make the switch to Old Trafford updating the Gunners supporters with a move to a rival team.

“Arsenal fans may not like this, but I’d like him to join United, I’d be very happy with that [laughter]. I’m sure Arsenal fans would not take that well, but that’s my advice to Auba,” Saha told Compare Bet.

On Partey, the Frenchman added: “He’s a top player. He’s a defensive presence and a tremendous prospect.

“Whether he can make an impact right away remains to be seen, as we have McTominay, Fred and Matic.

“However, we have seen the impact that someone like Fabinho has had on Liverpool. He has mastered that position. Fabinho has improved the players around him.

“This guy is a rock, he defends in such a way that allows the Liverpool frontline to play their game knowing he’s protecting the defence.

“Perhaps a Fabinho-like player is already at United, but if not, then we need to find someone, whether that’s Thomas Partey or anyone else.”

Both Partey and Aubameyang are world-class players and any team would be happy to add them, however, Arsenal are unlikely to do the same mistake and allow their star player to make a switch to direct PL rivals.

Partey, on the other hand, seems to be a more realistic options, however, Arsenal are thought to be frontrunners to get the deal done for Ghana international star.
