Borussia Dortmund are well aware of Jadon Sancho’s talent and are unwilling to let him go on the cheap. The steep price the German club are demanding for Sancho’s services might not be feasible even for the Red Devils however. With the uncertainty of the financial market and lots of clubs losing money, United cannot afford to spend frivolously.
Fortunately, it seems the club have already lined-up some alternatives instead of Jadon Sancho.
According to Quditiano Sportivo via Sport Witness Manchester United are edging closer to completing a deal for Fiorentina winger Federico Chiesa. The deal would be worth around 60 million Euros which is roughly £53 million.
That is almost half of what Borussia Dortmund are demanding for Jadon Sancho and for that reason Chiesa could be the perfect option.
Just like Sancho, the 22 year old Italian winger has been catching eyes with his impressive performances over the last few seasons. The son of a former Fiorentina star, Federico Chiesa has already started to make his own name in the game and has become a fan favourite at his boyhood club.
Blessed with pace, agility and the ability to slalom past defences with ease, Federico Chiesa could be ideal for the way Ole Gunnar Solskjaer likes to play.
The Italian international is still young with plenty of time to improve. He is one of the most highly rated players in his country.
