As per Fabrizio Romano, Amad Traore has completed his medicals with Manchester United yesterday and his passport’s documentation process is ongoing. Traore will join United in January 2021 – as club confirmed the deal on the deadline day.

Traore has played only 25 minutes in the Serie A – but is one of the hottest prospects from the world-class Atalanta academy.

The deal between Atalanta and United is worth €41m. United are in love with Traore and he felt he was dreaming when United approached his agents. Romano is also convinced that United believe him to be the second or the third best U-18 player in the world.

Atalanta captain Papu Gomez compared him to his international teammate Lionel Messi:

He’s a future star, trust me. During our trainings he seems like Messi! You can’t stop him”
