Man Utd take on AC Milan in a Europa League clash with massive potential, it’s time for our predicted XI ahead of the first leg.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Red Devils come into this one with a huge victory against Manchester City under their belts. Credit where it’s due, Manchester United played their noisy neighbours off the park. Now, it’s time to take that form into European competition.

Sure, there could have been easier assignments than AC Milan but at some point, you’re going to have to beat the best if you want to win this competition. Why not send a message out to everyone else in the tournament by going toe-to-toe with a Serie A hot-shot.

It’s up to United to be on their A-game for every single minute of the 180-minute tie. Our task has been made somewhat easier, mind, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic looking likely to miss the first leg.

In terms of United injuries, I’d be surprised if we see Paul Pogba or Donny van de Beek risked for this one. The same can likely be said for both Marcus Rashford and Edinson Cavani, too… Anyway, let’s get right into the team news.

Check out our predicted Man Utd XI vs AC Milan in full here:

Dean Henderson starts in between the sticks as he looks to further show the world that he deserves to be United’s number one.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka starts in the right-back slot, as he continues to be the only genuine option in that spot for the big games. Luke Shaw is in the form of his life so he’ll continue to play here. Harry Maguire starts and captain’s the side, with Eric Bailly drafted in for his pace.

Scott McTominay always starts these big games so why should that change now? Fred will be involved from the off, with Bruno Fernandes completing the midfield.

Mason Greenwood only played fifteen minutes at the weekend so he’ll come back into the team in the right-wing slot, with Daniel James starting off the left-wing. I’ve gone for Anthony Martial up top, fresh off his best performance of the season.
