The England international is said to be thinking about his future at Old Trafford because of a lack of game-time this campaign.
He has only started nine of his side’s 28 PL games this term and is understood to be open to a transfer, with his existing contract expiring in June 2023.
While the 24-year-old star has made nearly 300 appearances for his side since breaking into the senior team in 2016, he’s growing frustrated by his present role in the team.
Les Parisiens are one of the outfits who have reportedly declared interest in signing the player and a switch to Le Parc de Princes would be a ‘good move’, according to McCoist.
‘I would [make that move]. He’s got to look at himself. Why is he not in the team? It suggests he’s not doing enough for Ralf Rangnick for him to put him in the side,’ the former Rangers and Scotland striker.
That said, you look at the club, you look at the surroundings, Manchester United are all over the place just now…
‘If I’m Marcus Rashford I’ve got to start thinking about myself. How’s he going to get back in that England squad? In a fresh challenge, somewhere like PSG. I’ve got that down as a good move.’
