Red Devils are prepared to pay up to £70m to secure the signing of Aston Villa attacker Jack Grealish this summer. U21 England international is set to make his Three Lions debut later this month, and that Man United are set to move quickly to secure the playmaker’s signature.
Jack has nine goals and eight assists from 31 games across all tournaments this campaign, he has been the standout player in a side that will have to battle to escape relegation. Grealish’s current deal runs until 2023, and that it doesn’t include a release clause, Red Devils will have to splash the cash to pry Jack away from his boyhood club.
The 24-year-old playmaker certainly deserves the opportunity to play for the Three Lions’s senior team after a solid campaign with the Villains. Ole Gunnar Solskjær wants to strengthen the midfield during the summer transfer window, and his main target is Jack Grealish, who has an impressive season and attracted big clubs attention.
If the report is true and the English playmaker is called-up later this month, he’ll be hoping to impress Gareth Southgate during this international break and finish the season actively to make his case to get a place in the national team for this summer’s Euros.
Man United’s midfield has looked refreshed over the last couple of months, Fred is finally starting to prove his price-tag and Bruno Fernandes has been fantastic since joining in winter. The signing of Jack Grealish would certainly help take the side’s midfield to the next level.
