Valencia board are likely to reduce Manchester United and Liverpool attacking target Ferran Torres’ asking price ahead of the summer transfer market.

He is considered as a promising young talent as the Spaniard has already amassed a staggering total of 88 matches for the Spanish side in the last three years in spite of his young age of 20.

The winger’s recent displays this season, in which Ferran has recorded six goals and seven assists in 35 matches across all competitions, has led to interest from the PL with United and the Reds keeping tabs.

Valencia rate the Spain U21 international very highly but his deal runs out in the summer of 2021 and an extension has yet to be agreed.

According to The Athletic, the management are not keen on letting Ferran enter the last 12 months of his deal with the risk of losing him for a much lower price or even for nothing.

That is why the Mestalla club would be open to selling Ferran in the summer for a value that would still be significantly lower than his £89m exit clause.

Therefore, United and Liverpool’s hopes of landing the forward have significantly increased, provided that they are still keen.

Meantime, Inter Milan chief Piero Ausilio has suggested that Manchester United attacker Alexis Sanchez has an opportunity to earn a permanent deal at I Nerazzurri.

Speaking to Sky Sport Italia, Piero said: “He’ll stay with us until the end of the season, then we’ll decide about his future with Manchester United. He’ll have the opportunity to show his skills.”
