Real Madrid’s playmaker James Rodriguez could reportedly be available this summer for less than €30m (£26.3m).
The 28-year-old playmaker has been strongly linked with a switch to the English top-tier in the recent weeks, and Manchester United are believed to have joined the race to services of the midfielder.
The Colombia international midfielder has struggled for consistent game time this campaign, playing only seven La Liga games for Zinedine Zidane’s side during an injury-hit 2019-20 season.
According to MEN Sport, the Los Blancos are looking to offload the South American playmaker and will slash his asking price to do so.
However, the report also suggests that the Red Devils head-coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is prioritising younger, homegrown players in the transfer market, effectively ruling the Red Devils out of the running to secure the services of James Rodriguez but his lower price tag could see him making a move for Colombian playmaker.
Wolves, Everton and Arsenal ave also been credited with an interest in securing the services of James Rodriguez, who will see his current contract at Santiago Bernabeu expire in 2021.
