Premier League giants Manchester United will reportedly do battle with Serie A champions Juventus for the services of Fiorentina’s Federico Chiesa.

The 20-times English champions are believed to have sent scouts to keep close tabs on the 22-year-old in recent weeks, who has won 17 caps for Serie A club.

According to Tuttosport, Italian playmaker is firmly on the Red Devils radar and has become of interest as a potential signing for Man Utd prior to next campaign.

The report also claims that the Serie A club is valued at up to €70m (£60.4m), with Italian playmakers current contract at Fiorentina expiring in the summer of 2022.

The forward has found back of the net six times and five assists in Serie A this season as Giuseppe Iachini’s side sit 12th in the table.

Meanwhile, Juventus and Man Utd could agree on a big-money deal for Paul Pogba who has been rumoured with a return to Allianz Stadium in the recent months.

French midfielder who has been currently on the sidelines due to knee injury seems to be unhappy with his life at Old Trafford and ready to make a return to Turin where he has played his best football.
